This page is based on a car that I have always dreamed of owning since childhood. I have had a passion for the chrome bumpered, coke bottle style vettes for as long as I can remember, and now that I own one of my own I am going to share the dream with all of you who are interested. I bought this car that was nearly ready for the junk yard. Presently it is a 69 coupe that was originally can-am white with black interior. It has a 350 with 350 h.p. with a muncie 4-speed and 3:36 rear end gears. The car didn't have power brakes or steering or even an air conditioner. Most of these facts about the car are going to change during this restoration. My idea of the dream vette is a dark burgundy convertible with a saddle rag top and saddle leather interior. During this restoration there will some miraculous changes made to my stingray, all for the better. I will be doing the majority of the work on the vette myself and enjoying every minute of it. As I move along through this project I will be posting pictures and information on the progress. Hopefully I will inspire some of you, who share the same dream, to save one of these true Amerian Sports Cars from the junk yard.
