BeachinVette's 76 Vette Resurrection page
This is what she looked like when I bought her. The 80 on the right is the organ and body donor.
After I took off all the broken fiberglass I was left with this,,, a bent frame. So I had to find a frame.
I found one in VA beach and had it shipped it was straight but needed cleaning. I completed that and and started putting the car together.
A lot of stripping went on for a couple day's to get the old paint and grease off the frame.
I was so happy to start putting the car back together.
Here is were it started getting fun.
The front clip attached, the head lights installed. Man at this point it was killing me.I wanted to drive this car.
This was right at the 1 year mark, I had it in primer and started diving it.
Here is the interior. Pretty nice.
Here is my Engine. I think it looks pretty good in there.
The car got a quick white paint job, we were getting busy on building our new house so I needed to cover the primer.
Well time was getting away from me, I had two weeks to prep and paint the car Red. The wife said no painting in the new garage. Came out pretty good.
Well here I go again. I picked up this little project that should not take me near as long to complete. It is a 79 coupe, 57,060 miles. The car is all original. I think I might keep it that way too. The paint color is Glacier White.
I do think they look good together. Thanks for stopping by. Email me with any questions or comments at (home) respersen@bellsouth.net. And a very BIG Thanks to all on the Corvetteforum.com that helped me out during this resurrection. Your knowledge and willingness to share it was invaluable to me.Thanks Hope you enjoyed. Bob
