Modifications to the crossmember included cutting out the stock center piece and welding a new bracket with 3/16" bar stock. Care was used to make sure the driveshaft turned without binding and clearance for the factory E-Brake cable.

Custom console side panels and leather shifter boot. Since the shifter came out more centered in the console, I decided to just modify the center console to fit it. I reversed the Pro 5.0 shortie shifter and add a polished 6 speed ball. Throw is a short 2".

Grand Am rack and pinion conversion with Speedway tie rods.

Custom build 1 7/8" headers from GM flanges and a BB header kit. Collectors are 3 1/2"
