Introducing quite possibly the sexiest Volvo ever built. In 1998, Volvo made a radical change to their design curving up the body panels steering as far away from their old image of "Block" Styling. The Volvo C70 came out in 1998 in High Pressure Turbo (HPT) and Low Pressure Turbo (LPT) engine variants. It was available in a Coupe or Convertable...(I obviously went with the coupe) Based upon a leeser known breed of fast turbo'ed sedans (850 and S70) the C70 is the roomiest coupe in its class. Since it was based on a mid size sedan, instead of a compact sedan, the outcome was much more roomier interior than its competition. Here lies some of my favorite pictures (so far) of my 1998 Volvo C70 Coupe High Pressure Turbo. It was acquired used, and previously in an accident, and semi-maintained. Over time... and with financial resources, it looks the way it does now. Engine purrs smoothly, and bursts with growling power after slight turbo lag; with the added sensual sound of the turbo spooling up and pushing denser air into the engine's combustion chamber. Its got about 30,000 miles on it.
