I decided to mount the Crane HI-6 ignition box where the washer fluid reservoir used to be. This was the best place to mount it as far as space and I'm hoping there will be enough airflow next to the gills to keep it cool.

And the little angel. As soon as the parts come out of their box, she goes right in the box.
May 12th, 2003: Still waiting on the engine. It's getting really close to my deadline for the 2003 Hot Rod Power Tour making it's final stop in Fort Worth. I now have 3 weeks before the Tour and 2 of which I am spending in west Africa for work. Yikes, I reallllly don't want to miss the Power Tour! Come on, AR! (I hate depeding on other people)

May 15th, 2003: It finally arrived! But the dipstick included is the wrong one. We did a mock-up to make sure of the fit of all the goodies. The pulleys were a little off and the aftermarket alternator bracket doesn't seem to have enough adjustment...one belt is too long and next is too short. Should have put in the spark plugs at this point cause we found out later after it was in the car and the headers were on that these heads angle the plugs right into my headers. Our options now are shorty plugs or new tuned headers.
But boy it sure looks good!!!
