This is my 96 LT1. I bought it on January 9,1999. Since I have had it I have installed chrome ZR1s and door sill protectors. Also I have put the stainless exhaust extensions on. I have used Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish to shine most of the aluminum pieces under the hood. I have put the red letters on the fuel rail covers and hand painted the letters on the ASR cover. Right now I am getting ready for the first show of the season at Corvette Expo in Knoxville,TN. East Tennessee Corvette Club Check out my clubs link.

This is a picture of my 96 and my 79. The 79 was my first vette. I had done a lot of work on it. Lots of little things. Changed the weather strip, new a/c compressor and drier for r134a, rebuilt the power steering pump, new slave cylinder for steering, polished the wheels, new front suspension kit (still in the box in garage) lots of new interior parts. While the a/c compressor was off I took the valve covers off, brackets, pulleys, fan, anything that wasn`t tied down and stripped it down to bare metal and repainted it to make the engine compartment look nice. Anyway lots of work over the years. It was alot of fun.

This was what my 79 looked like when I last saw it. Pronounced dead at the scene December 2,1999. Every body panel was busted in some place or another. I was sitting at a redlight and got rear ended. The car that hit me never hit the brakes. The 79 wound up shoved under the pickup truck in front of me. Then the truck and my vette struck another car in front of us. Four cars total. My vette was totalled and so was the car that hit me. Luckily no one was hurt. Check back later and I will have new pics to see. Be sure to check my 2nd page.
