The Assailant. This is the car that brutally attacked my 79. A "Classic" 1976 4 Door Oldsmobile Omega. The poor driver had only had his license for a few weeks. He hadn`t even got insurance on the car yet. Too bad.
The Victim. I am sure this was a scary site for my wife to drive up on. The tailgate was down on the truck and was maybe 1 ft from the windshield. The man in the truck drove off after everything was cleaned up. I was not so lucky. The vette was still running after the wreck but leaking gas at the tank in a bad way. Can you say ouch.
The Jackstand. The tow truck driver said that was the first time he had ever seen a corvette used as a jackstand. We had already been talking and he knew how I felt. A little humor to lighten the moment.
