Here's what I've been up to recently and in the past.....

Here is a shot of my new house (well, new to me). It was built in 1998 and has 2254 square feet of floor space. It features 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms on a little over an acre. It has a 2 car attached garage and a large 2-car detached garage/workshop out back. I also have the opportunity to buy more acreage if I want to.

Below is a picture of the dining room. This room features hardwood laminate flooring and a window seat with storage. We'll be on the lookout for a table especially for this room.

This is the view looking down from the top of the stairs toward the front door.
These are solid wood 6-panel doors and are used for every bedroom, bathroom and closet door within the home.
Finally, here is the kitchen. You can see the family room just beyond it. Excuse my mess!

Anne and I would like to invite all of our friends and family to our new home. Either one of us can give you detailed directions as to how to find us. We're in the middle of nowhere but we'd love for you to make the trip.

With upwards of 20 trees here at the new house along with the new ATV (they are allowed on county roads) ordinance in our county, I decided that having a Yamaha Rhino would be both fun and useful. It features a 686cc fuel-injected engine, dump bed, Simpson harnesses and a locking 4WD.

Out with the old, in with the new! This is my new "daily driver" that will see foul weather and trucking duty. It's a 2005 4 wheel drive Chevrolet Silverado Z71 in the color of forest green metallic. It's got the 295 horsepower Vortec 5.3 w/aluminum heads. The only modifications so far are B.F. Goodrich TA/KO all-terrain tires, K&N air filter and the stainless steel Raptor step bars.

This is my "perfect" .500 reaction time. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in awhile but actually, I had 3 of 6 passes under .550 that day.

I'm also an amateur radio operator. Here's a card that I received after having a conversation with astronaut Shannon Lucid while she was aboard the space station Mir.
Here's a view of my amateur radio station WR9AN (formerly KF9WM). The callsign is issued by the Federal Communications Commission once a test has been passed. This license and my equipment has allowed me to communicate with people all over the world and even aboard spacecraft carrying amateur operators. Here's Annie sporting here new, 2004 Pontiac Vibe. The color is Fusion Orange metallic. It's a fairly new color for GM vehicles that looks awesome in the direct sunlight. It's got a high-revving 16-valve 4 cylinder engine. This engine puts out 130 hp and redlines at 8300 rpm!

Well, that's all for now. The site is still under construction and somewhat crude but hey, you gotta start somewhere! Thanks for visiting and please sign my guestbook.
