![]() 1962 Two Tops -- Almond Beige/Fawn Beige Interior - - -This was my first Corvette! It leaked like it had no weatherstriping and handled like a slug by todays standards. But I'd dearly love to have it back again today. It was so simple and basic that anyone could work on it. It was made a 360hp/327 w/fuel injection, 4:11 positraction, and a 4 speed. The only exterior modification I had done was to mount the very first set of Indy Drag Mag Wheels to hit the streets. I had picked them up at the factory the first day of production.
It was sold to Harry Wiik of Grants Pass, Oregon. I have no idea where it is today. Like so many of us, I neglected to take pictures of many of my cars. I only have this one tattered picture of the '62 that's usable. Take lots of pictures, folks!! (Update 4/27/01) The car has been located and is now owned by Janet Miller of Prescott, Arizona - It is all original except it now has chrome traction bars, an electric fuel pump, minor brake mods and is painted black. Janet and her former husband, Ed Miller, of Medford, owned and showed twin black '62 Corvettes. Here is a 2001 picture!

![]() 1965 Coupe -- Nassau Blue/Blue leather Interior - - - I bought this beautiful coupe from Bob Selby at Selby Chevrolet (now Town and Country Chevrolet) in Ashland, Oregon. It was a 327/375hp with a 4 speed, positraction 3:36 gears. It had the new transistor ignition system, fuel injection, an independent suspension, knock-off wheels(I had loaned them to a friend when these pictures were taken), leather, and the first year of disc brakes on a Corvette. The red roadster parked behind mine belonged to Wayne Squire, who later bought my yellow '68 coupe. What a stunning difference in all around handling when compared to the old "C1" models. It was sold to Bernie Douglas who had moved to Ashland. It was last seen in Medford, Oregon about seven years after I sold it. I have no idea where it is today.
![]() 1966 Roadster -- Tuxedo Black/Black Interior - - - I bought this beautiful Corvette from Danny Yop at the Yop Chevrolet dealership in Chular, California. It became my first highly modified Corvette. It had a small block 350/327 that soon had an Art Carr Torq-Flite tranny, Mondello Heads, a Crane Roller Cam, Hooker Headers, yada, yada! It had factory side pipes (with the headers, really something to hear!) and, with special adapters to clear the disc brake calipers, I had mounted a set of Buick Skylark wire wheels on it. It looked beautiful, sounded beautiful, and went like a bat out of hell. It was sold to Craig Lathrop of Grants Pass, Oregon with the original 4 speed re-installed. I have no idea where it is today. The photo is exactly the way it looked the day I bought it. I had later installed the wire wheels.
